About Myself

A few words.

I consider myself to be a creative and highly motivated individual with an aspiration for computers and a palpable love for technology. I'm driven by the results that my colleagues and I achieve and I'm eager to prove myself a valuable asset to a business.

Over the years I have taught myself various programs that serve a variety of purposes from 3D modelling, video and audio editing as well as data-entry and Office Software. That said my passion will always be programming and programming languages.

I have finally decided to seriously pursue a career in software development and I am confident that my hard work and dedication will get me there.

My Background

What I've been up to.

Just IT

Currently my focus is on learning programming and work skills that will be beneficial to me in software development.

I am studying at Just IT Training in London, the majority of my time is spent self-studying and increasing my programming experience.

I'm currently focusing on learning software development techniques through Visual Studio and my strongest languages are C# and JavaScript.

A significant part of my learning is spent on Pluralsight and you're able to follow my progress here: Pluralsight

Consumer Knowledge Center

Working with a small group of people meant that I had to manage my time effectively over a wide range of different tasks and processes in order to meet the strict deadlines required of us by our clients.

In this role, working in a team often meant being able to share tasks equally amongst ourselves and working together towards a great presentation and written report for our clients.

This real world work experience was a real eye opener for me and I consider myself extremely fortunate to have worked for such an ambitious business.

The London Academy

Thanks to this schools relatively advanced computer lab I was able to nurture the start of my programming skills and love of technology.

Though actual programming classes were never a big focus of the school curriculum itself I was able to gain enough of a taste to realise it was a subject I not only had some innate skill for but more importantly enjoyed.
